Incredible Omega-3 Smoked Ham Steak that goes great with an artichoke dipped in garlic/butter.
Ingredients:
1 lbs Omega-3 Pork Smoked Ham Slice
2 Tbsp. Grass-Fed Butter
½ c water
2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
¼ c Honey
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
Instructions:
1. Melt butter in the large skillet and add ham. Cook until brown on both sides. (About three to four minutes on each side to warm it up.)
2. Remove ham steak from the skillet and keep warm.
3. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan (water, Dijon mustard, honey and paprika). Cook until honey is dissolved, approximately five minutes.
4. Place ham steak back in the skillet and cook for another five minutes with the caramelized glaze. (Do not overcook smoked steaks. That dries them out.)
