A spicy twist for your favorite fish. Your family will want seconds.
Ingredients:
4 to 6 Mahi Mahi fillet portions
2 Tbsp. Grass-Fed Butter
1 Tbsp. Macadamia Nut Oil
1 whole Lemon
Blackened Seasoning:
1 tsp T-coon’s Seasoning
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 Tbsp. Italian Seasonings
1 tsp Seasoning Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Instructions:
1. Combine all Blackened Seasoning Mix ingredients in a bowl.
2. Pat dry the fish fillets with paper towels.
3. Season the fillets with Blackened Seasoning Mix on all sides, pressing the seasoning into the fish with your hands.
4. Place a saute pan over medium-high heat and add butter and oil. When the oil is nice and hot, add the seasoned fish.
5. Cook, undisturbed, for several minutes, until golden brown then flip fish over and continue to cook until opaque and completely cooked through.
6. Squeeze lemon juice over the fish and serve.
