A great Asian-style meat-and-vegetables recipe full of flavor and nutrition.
Ingredients:
Meat
1 lb. Beef or Buffalo Eye of Round steak or Sirloin Steaks sliced thin or cut into bite size pieces
4 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp. Honey
2 Tsp Corn Starch
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
½ Tsp Ground Ginger
dash seasoning Salt and Pepper
Vegetables
1 Small White Onion Sliced in half-moon shapes
½ of each: Green, Red, Orange Bell Peppers sliced
2 Tbsp. Macadamia nut oil
Glaze
6 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp. Corn Starch
3 Tbsp. Honey
Directions:
1. Cut the steak and vegetables.
2. Mix your soy, corn starch, honey and seasonings.
3. Pour over steak and put in refrigerator.
4. Mix the ingredients for your glaze together and put aside.
5. In a large skillet; heat one tablespoon of oil over medium high heat.
6. Place your vegetables and cook for five minutes. (Until starting to brown.) Remove and set aside.
7. Heat the rest of the oil in the same skillet over medium heat.
8. Add your meat and cook untill done for about five to seven minutes.
9. Add Vegetables to the meat and pour the glaze over everything and cook for one to two minutes just until thickened.
10. Remove from heat.
Serve over a bed of Cauliflower Rice with Asparagus and Spinach.
