A delicious flat iron steak recipe full of flavor that everyone will enjoy.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. Grass-Fed Beef or Buffalo Flat Iron Steaks
½ c Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp. White Cooking Wine
¼ c Honey
1 Tbsp. Macadamia Nut Oil
2 Tbsp. minced Ginger
2 Tbsp. minced Garlic
1 teaspoon crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
2 tsp Garlic Powder
Instructions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together in a zip lock bag.
2. Place the steaks into the zip lock bag and seal it.
3. Place in the refrigerator to marinade for at least three to 12 hours.
4. Remove from fridge and let rest untill room temperature.
5. Heat up the outdoor grill and remove the steaks from the plastic bag and place on the grill. DO NOT discard the liquid.
6. Cook steaks to your desired doneness. Rare to medium rare at most.
7. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add all the liquid from the plastic bag into the pan. Let simmer and reduce until half the liquid is gone. It should be slightly thickened to drizzle over the cooked steaks prior to serving.
Serve with your favorite side dish. In this case it was asparagus with lemon butter sauce sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and an artichoke with garlic butter.
