I Was Diagnosed With a Rare Form of Narcolepsy

My name is Kelly Garner and I want to tell you my story.

In 2006 I was diagnosed with a rare form of narcolepsy and endured years of prescription drugs. Eventually I decided that I needed to make changes in my life so I started with major dietary and lifestyle changes plus exercise. I decided to learn all I could about nutrition so I went to school where I became a Certified Micronutrient Specialist. I am not a young college student but a grandmother who was retired and ready to spend the rest of my days just living the good life. But I ended up learning through education and personal history what does and does not work for better health. Now I want to help others heal and enjoy a full life too.

I'm a Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Micronutrients Specialist, and a student of Herbalism. I believe that continuing one's education is the key to keeping up with all the newest, latest and greatest ways to heal oneself. I specialize in autoimmune conditions, food intolerance, food reintroduction and the Ketogenic diet for neurological issues and weight loss.

I am well aware of the importance of my essential fat ratio and I wanted to share my results with you. It's 2.7:1 which I think is pretty good but I am sure there is room for improvement. I know part of the reason my test is so good is because we only eat the chicken and pork from Slankers as well as the 100% grass fed beef.

Recently I got test results back on a new client whose Omega-3 test was not good and they are now also ordering the Omega-3 chicken and Omega-3 pork from you! We made some major changes to his diet even though he was already eating pretty clean and primarily "Paleo."

Obviously Paleo has morphed into recommendations motivated more by marketing than health. This is why continuous study and perseverance is needed to stay on track with a good diet.

I am always looking for ways to enhance my Holistic practice and to further help my clients. My website is http://www.theholisticplate.com/.

Thanks again for your site and all the hard work you put into it. The information is priceless!
